FAQ
Here at Lacey Lou, our goal is to make your stationery,the most easiest part of planning your wedding.
From the first contact you know you have made the right choice, with fast replies to your queries to the work put in to create your perfect stationery. All designs are easily customised to suit your theme and style.
Q: Can you change the colours to suit my theme?
A: Yes, we can change most of the backing card, overlays, ribbon, feathers, etc. to match your requirements. Some of the patterned paper cannot be changed, however there are plenty of different colours/pattern we can choose from. Send me your colour theme and we will source these for you.
Q: Do prices include printing?
A: Yes! When completing a custom order we ask for your details. If you have preferred wording I can use this. If not I can provide you with some samples.
The cost of the invitation also includes the printing of your guest's names on each individual invitation at no extra charge.
Q: Do you provide matching envelopes?
A: Yes! However prices to vary. Please let me know what colour you are after and we will get prices for you. These start at 50c each.
Q: Can you print addresses for my envelopes?
A: Yes! We can send you an excel spreadsheet to fill in all the details or you can provide your own.
Q: Can you post the invitations on my behalf?
A: Yes we can! Most of our invitations can be sent as a standard letter, postage will be at 70c per invitation.
Q: My wedding is coming up quickly! How long will an order take?
A: We allow 4-6 weeks from approval of proofs to create your order, of course this depends on the size. Usually by the time it comes to creating your order your materials are on hand.
If you require your order in a shorter time frame, this can be arranged for a fee, please contact us with your details.
Q: I am after wishing well/RSVP cards, do you make these?
A: Yes we do! These usually don't include any patterned paper as this would just add to the cost of your order! I want to keep you under budget! :) These start at 70c each depending on your colours.
Q: What about placecards?
A: We offer two styles of placecards. Flat-cut card, will need a placecard holder. Or you can have a folded free-standing card. These start at 75c each. These will reflect your invitations.
Q: I know exactly how I want my invitations to look, which are different to your other styles. If I provide details can you make these for me?
A: Yes! We will compile the materials and work with you on a quote.
Q: If we send you a photo of the invitation we want, will you create these for us?
A: No, Lacey Lou will not duplicate designs. We respect our competitors hard work and designs. We may use these as inspirations for your design, but will not copy.
Q: Why are your invitations so cheap?
A: We work directly with wholesalers, giving you usually up to 50% off the materials you will find yourself in a craft/invitation store. We don't mark these prices.
Q: I would like to use your designs, however it's for a 21st birthday, can you change the wording?
A: Of course! All wording is decided by you! These invitations are not just for wedding, for any event you wish!
Q: I like your design, but I don't want the buckle, can we remove these?
A: Of course! All invitations are made to order, so we can move and change things around you don't like. Removing items from an invitation usually decreases the overall price.
Q: Oh no! We forgot to invite Aunty May! Can we have another invitation made?
A: Of course! We keep your document files until after your wedding date, so no need to worry about changing quantities during your order process.
Q: How do I go ahead with an order?
A: Once you've approved the quote, Lacey Lou requires a 50% deposit of your total order. This is to cover the cost of materials needed for your order.
When your deposit has been received, we send through your worksheet, which shows a breakdown of all items ordered, sample text/wording ideas, guest list sheets, we also order all your materials.
Once you've decided on your wording, Lacey Lou works on your proofs, any changes can be made during this stage, once perfect we need an official 'go-ahead' from you.
We then get to the fun part! Printing and assembling your order, which we will keep your updated during this process and estimated completion time. Once completed, we require the remaining payment before shipping via registered post, for your and of course our own piece of mind.
